Appearance: Odorless white solid that sublimes at ambient conditions to colorless, odorless carbon dioxide gas.
Solid density: Approximately 1.56 g/cm³ near the sublimation temperature.
Sublimation temperature: -78.5 °C at atmospheric pressure.
Water interaction: Slightly soluble in water and can form carbonic acid.
